ABOUT THE CLASS:
This workshop is a practical introduction to spraying ceramic surfaces using both a spray gun and an airbrush. Rather than focusing on one "correct" method, I'll be sharing the workflow I've developed in my own studio through years of production, glaze testing, and experimentation.
We'll cover everything from equipment setup and glaze preparation to spray techniques, gradients, layering, masking, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. Along the way I'll share the small adjustments and habits that have made the biggest difference in my own work.
Students will have the opportunity to spray both overglazes and underglazes using instructor-provided equipment and bisque ware, giving everyone a chance to experience both systems before investing in their own setup.

WHAT TO BRING:
Students are welcome to bring a few small bisque-fired pieces if they'd like to test techniques on their own work.
Please also bring:
Bisque ware for demonstrations and practice will be provided.
No prior spraying experience is necessary.
Pieces created in this workshop will be ready for pick up at BS Club House 2-3 weeks after the workshop!
