Full refunds are available up to two weeks before the start date of your class. No refunds are able to be issued past that point.
Experience
* Previous wheel experience is required (students should be able to center and throw 2+ pounds of clay)
Continue to expand your wheel-throwing knowledge and learn how to create light fixtures on the wheel! In this intermediate course, you will learn how to throw larger and incorporate lighting hardware into your designs in order to create stunning, one-of-a-kind ceramic lamps. Skills explored will include: throwing larger, combining thrown forms on the wheel, closed forms, wiring lamps and more.
Open studio
Open studio hours will be offered every week, after the first week of class plus an additional few open studios after the session has ended to complete glazing. Open Studio will be non-instructional studio time for enrolled students to work on their projects and will be offered at no additional cost. Enrollment for open studio days will open one week prior.
Supplies
Price does not include clay or tools. We only allow students to use one of the 4 clay bodies we carry in our shop: Cinco Rojo, Cino Blanco, Buffalo Wallow and Speckled Buff. If you would like us to provide you with a bag of clay and / or a pottery toolkit, those can be purchased now or on our Supplies Page at any point in time and we will have them ready for you on your first day.
