We're putting the CLUB in Club House and turning your favorite pottery studio into your new favorite throw down! Think late-night dance club... but make it pottery.
The lights will be low, the vibes will be high, and the house music will be bumping. This is an open studio session designed for potters with previous wheel throwing experience to get into the flow, create on the wheel, and enjoy the club setting without actually having to go downtown.
Bring your own clay or purchase clay from us when you arrive. At the end of the night, you can:
- Take your freshly thrown pieces home to trim, glaze, and fire in your own studio (or put them on your shelf if you're a current Club House student or member).
- Leave your work with us, and we'll trim, glaze, and fire it for an additional fee (cone 6 only please).
- Or embrace the joy of creating just for the experience. If you don't want to keep what you make, you're invited to reclaim your Cinco Blanco, Cinco Rojo, Buffalo Wallow, or Speckled Buff clay - a beautiful reminder that not every piece has to last forever :)
There is much pain in the world but not in this studio.
