Materials, munchies, and gentle words of encouragement will be provided. Doors open 10 minutes before the workshop and close 5 minutes after we begin.
ABOUT THE CLASS:
How do you learn to make a clay whistle? Find a good tooter! Or, you can sign up for this workshop, where you'll take a lifeless lump of clay and make it sing! Armed with basic hand building techniques and a few special tools, you will build a working whistle from scratch, then paint it with colored slips in whatever manner you choose. WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK(shop)!
Your whistle will be fired and ready for pickup ~ 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
